This is a full-time role for a Business Solutions Consultant at MMIT Business Solutions Group. Specifically, the Business Solutions Consultant will be responsible for analyzing client needs, providing consulting services, optimizing business processes, and driving sales. Additionally, the consultant will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and recommend suitable solutions in order to enhance their business operations.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills, Consulting, and Business Process skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adept at building client relationships and understanding client needs
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

In collaboration with the Director of Professional Services, the Network Support Engineer will respond to technical service requests on enterprise-level servers, PC and laptop computers, storage sub-systems and drives, computer and telecommunications systems, as well as networking devices at client locations in Iowa. Additionally, the candidate must have hardware experience to support a variety of servers, mass storage, desktops, core legacy systems, and networking devices; this may also include supporting various network-attached devices. Furthermore, the candidate should be knowledgeable about various Microsoft server and desktop operating systems and desktop applications. Finally, the majority of assigned daily tasks are service events related to strategic partner accounts, including servers, network storage appliances, and network communications equipment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/TASKS:

  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by users of various servers, desktop systems, network Internet and other computer technology.
  • Provide technical support to end-users regarding computer hardware and software; install, test, certify and troubleshoot networking cabling systems and attached devices.
  • Install configured network equipment; provides technical expertise to end-users regarding optimal set-up for software, hardware and network use; install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot a wide range of network and data communications software and hardware.
  • Train users in various software applications and network-related procedures; and perform related work as required.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:

  • Experience with Microsoft Server / Desktop / Office products
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs
  • Experience installing software, patches, updates on Desktops and Laptops
  • Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems
  • Experience installing, configuring and maintaining Windows servers
  • Self-motivated, efficient and learn quickly
  • Strong team player that will promote teamwork and excellent communications
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Background check and drug screen required
  • Takes responsibility for follow-up services or problem escalation
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress
  • Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction

The Field Service Engineer is a full-time service professional who is responsible for maintenance and repair of copiers, facsimiles and office business equipment in a given territory.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/TASKS:

  • Performs full range of maintenance and repairs on assigned products to include technical diagnostics, break/fix, installation, removal and customer call assistance.
  • Ability to support multiple products (Multi-Product Trained).
  • Maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an accurate car stock inventory.
  • Participate in monthly meetings and communicate equipment problems and solutions to fellow technicians.
  • Escalate service and customer issues to Master Technicians or Management as appropriate.
  • Assist sales department with installation of new or trial equipment to ensure proper placement and operation.
  • Complete required paperwork / reporting neatly, accurately and on time.
  • Promote equipment upgrades and the sale of maintenance agreements to clients.
  • Ability to support customers in a multi-shift environment.
  • Actively participate in after hours or call out activities.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:

  • AA degree in electronics or other related field experience
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Must have valid driver’s license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage
  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
